The newly built Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri is a truly unique property, almost a destination within itself. Enjoy the warm welcoming from the attentive staff as you walk in to the grand lobby beautifully decorated in gold and marble. Each of the 214 rooms has been luxuriously decorated in keeping with a traditional feel but contemporary look and each boasting spectacular views of the sea.

There are 5 private beaches to enjoy with pure white sand and a turquoise lagoon, ideal for relaxing the day away. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Abu Dhabi City, a great location for peace and quiet but still not too far from the busy city.

Building Work

A second hotel within the Qaryat Al Beri project is currently being constructed. It is nearest to block F of the Shangri-La Residences therefore this block will be closed until the hotel is complete. Noise is kept to a minimum as most heavy work has already been carried out. Hoarding will also block the view towards the building. A new hotel development, not managed by Shangri-La, is being constructed next to the Qaryat Al Beri project but this is 1km from the main hotel building and no construction noise can be heard. - Across the water, next to the Grand Mosque, there is also another hotel project under development. However, no construction noise can be heard from this project.


Ramadan

Please remember The holy month of Ramadan for 2009 is expected to commence from 20 August-20 September. Throughout the day the serving of alcohol will be restricted and bars will only be open from dusk. There will be no live entertainment. Please remember to respect local customs: do not eat, drink or smoke in public places during the daylight hours and dress sensibly.
